Cemetery Rezoning Update!

Assalamualaikum,
All praise be to Allah, the Creator of all things.
On Wednesday, November 20th, Allah answered our supplications and granted us a victory with the Pinal County of Supervisors. They have voted unanimously for the adjacent 5- and 10-acre plots to the current cemetery to be combined into a total lot size of 25 acres and to be zoned for cemetery usage.
I would first like to thank Allah for all the assistance he gave to this decade-long process. I would also like to thank the Cemetery Committee which consists of Hassan Elsaad (Chairman), Omar Abdallah, Marwan Tamimi, and Walid Alsmadi. Brother Kazi Hague has also assisted us while being a resident of Washington State. Other people include Arif Kazmi, Hussein Amin Hussein, Anjum, Dilshad Mynt, Faisal Alhasan, Nidal Fayad, and Javed Khan. Our Funeral Director, Ahmad Ewais, has assisted with the beginning of the zoning process and has been the caretaker of our deceased brothers and sisters; may Allah have mercy on them all. May Allah reward all those who have assisted in this process and forgive me if I have failed to mention them.
One step has been taken, but many more remain. We are now going to be looking at the required planning and landscaping requirements for the cemetery expansion as is required due to the rezoning. I ask that you please be patient during the work that will have to be done to the land as we improve it for the current and future Muslim community.
