An Update on Our Buildings Fund
Assalamu Alaikum Yaseen Community,
On September 6, 2024, an unexpected leak at the YBC caused significant water damage to the floors in our main rooms. Over the following month, we replaced the vinyl flooring with more durable porcelain tile in the Salam and Noor rooms, as well as the cafe.
Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised a substantial amount over the past three months. Many community members also contributed by organizing Friday Bake Sales to help offset the costs, JazakumAllahu khairan!
However, despite these efforts, we still face a shortfall in covering the total expenses.

New Fundraising Campaign:
100% Palestinian Olive Oil
We are delighted to announce that we have 100% Palestinian olive oil for sale from the village of Burqa, near Nablus in the West Bank. This olive oil was made from the 2024 harvest & pressed in Late October/Early November.
We have 15kg (16.5L) tanks for sale at $275 each, and a generous portion will go back to Yaseen Foundation's Buildings Fund.
Reserve your tank of 100% Palestinian olive oil today! Tanks will be sold and distributed at the YBC after Jummah Salat, starting in mid-December.
