BOT Elections Update

Saturday night, June 14, between 7:00PM and 7:15PM, the Election Sub-Committee made the second call for our community to vote for the BOT 3 opening positions. Around 236 registered members were needed for a quorum, but only 15 registered members showed up - including 3 members of the Election Sub-Committee.

The 15 registered members consisted of 8 brothers and 7 sisters. Only 2 candidates showed up. Sister Shairmin was there at 7:00pm and brother Asaf came around 7:13pm.

*The next call (third and final call) is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 between 7:00PM and 9:30PM at the Main Musallah.*

According to the By-Laws; page 14, **a minimum of 20 registered members must be present for the elections to take place. **

The Election Sub-Committee thanks all the members; and candidates, who showed up on Saturday the 14th., and hope to see all the members on the 28th.
