How Have Recent Executive Orders Affected our Refugee Resettlement Work?
Dar Al-Hijrah was honored to serve as an official refugee resettlement agency, helping nearly 200 newcomers from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guatemala find safe haven in the U.S. in just sixteen months.
However, due to a recent federal order, refugee resettlement contracts nationwide were canceledleaving many new arrivals without essential support.
Thanks to state funding and a resilient team, DAH continues to support our newcomer community through employment services, youth programs, and health outreachjust as weve done for years.

We at Dar Al-Hijrah would love to provide an opportunity for our youth to develop their martial arts skills, and especially their Jiu Jitsu. A current and active fighter, Khaldon will be providing the youth instruction on self-defense, while helping foster a strong environment of brotherly bond between the students.

Fast & Learn
Fast & Learn is a weekly program from 7:30PM to 9:30 PM that connects youth to the masjid and give them a space where they can freely discuss things on their mind.
The program combines spiritual connection through fasting, bonding with fellow youth by breaking their fast together and inspiring the youth to speak their mind freely while pursuing knowledge and a fundamental understanding of their faith.
