We invite you to be part of something truly special
As-Salaam-Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak!
We invite you to be part of something truly special - the Atlanta Masjid Community Archives Project. This initiative is dedicated to preserving the rich history of our beloved community, ensuring that the stories, artifacts, and legacies are safeguarded for generations to come.
Our next volunteer session is on Saturday, March 15th, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, at the AMCF Office (the white office building in the masjid parking lot, formerly the medical building).
What to Expect:
Learn about preservation and ethical handling practices
Gain hands-on experience in archival processing
Assist in sorting and arranging historical materials (Bro. Nassar's photography collection)
Why This Matters:
Every artifact, photograph, and document tells a story. By volunteering, you help preserve these narratives and contribute to a lasting legacy that future generations can learn from and build upon. Feel free to listen to some of the reflections from Volunteer Session #2 - Alhumdulilah, this is special work and we appreciate everyone's continued interest and engagement: ****
We look forward to seeing you and working together to honor our past and shape our future. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to [email protected].
