Afghan Youth Mentoring
Starting January
SALAM is proud to launch an exciting new program for Afghan youth. This mentorship club is designed to help newly arrived Afghan youth adapt and succeed in Sacramento. Its a place to meet new friends, learn essential life skills, and prepare for a successful future in the U.S.
Eligibility:
- Afghan youth ages 14 24.
- Open to both boys and girls.
- Arrived in the U.S. within the past two years.

AYM Youth Mentor
SALAM is seeking proactive and engaging Youth Mentors for our Afghan Youth Mentoring program. These roles work directly with newly arrived Afghan teens coaching them in strategies to thrive in their new environment. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent on the availability of grant funds.
