Exciting Expansion on the Horizon! We are thrilled to consider the expansion of our Quran Memorization classes to include additional sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. This opportunity will allow us to welcome more students into our Quran program.
Express Your Interest in New Sessions: If you or your children are interested in joining the Monday and Wednesday sessions, we invite you to fill out the interest form.
Schedule: Planned for Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 PM to 7 PM.
Location: Held at SALAM Islamic Center.
Fee: $80 per student per month with a family discount available.

Recap
Despite the rainy weather, our community came together for an unforgettable evening of joy, games, and fellowship.
Our little ones dazzled everyone with their knowledge and enthusiasm in the Kid's Islamic Trivia, while the adults were not to be outdone, showcasing their Islamic knowledge and competing for some prizes in their own trivia challenge.
The evening was filled with classic fun as Tug of War and Musical Chairs brought out the competitive spirit in everyone, amidst lots of laughter and cheers.
After all the fun and games, we all gathered for a delicious meal, sharing stories and smiles, and enjoying the warmth of our community together.

With the month of Ramadan swiftly approaching, it's a time of preparation and spiritual renewal. We invite you to deepen your connection with Allah (SWT) by joining us for all five daily prayers at SALAM, led by Shaykh Saad ElHelaly and Shaykh Achour El-Qaddoury. Experience the profound recitations in both Hafs and Warsh qiraat, immersing yourself in the beauty and diversity of Quranic recitation.
As we count down the days to Ramadan, let's also embrace the Sunnah of fasting during the "White Days" of Rajab and Shaaban. This year, the three white days in Rajab fall on:
Fasting on these days is a great opportunity to start getting into the habit of fasting, preparing our bodies and souls for the holy month of Ramadan.
We encourage everyone, whether you're a regular at the mosque or haven't visited in a while, to join us for the daily prayers. Let's come together as a community, strengthen our faith, and prepare our hearts for the blessed month ahead.
May Allah (SWT) accept all our prayers and fasts and allow us to reach Ramadan in good health and strong imaan.

SALAM is proud to launch an exciting new program for Afghan youth. This mentorship club is designed to help newly arrived Afghan youth adapt and succeed in Sacramento. Its a place to meet new friends, learn essential life skills, and prepare for a successful future in the U.S.
Eligibility:
AYM Youth Mentor
SALAM is seeking proactive and engaging Youth Mentors for our Afghan Youth Mentoring program. These roles work directly with newly arrived Afghan teens coaching them in strategies to thrive in their new environment. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent on the availability of grant funds.
