Help us help those in need this Ramadan.

as'salaamu alaykum,

I hope you are doing well inshallah and benefiting from these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah.  May Allah bless us in and through these days and make us from those who benefit from the Day of 'Arafah and Eid ul-Adha.  Ameen.

This will be my last email to the ICNYU community. I'm grateful that it is on this blessed Day of 'Arafah and is a request to help people in their time of need. May Allah make us from the best of their supporters and accept from all of us.  Ameen.

With the Day of 'Arafah upon us, I'm writing to you all to ask for your support of three things.

Help Provide Flour & Hygiene Packets For Families In Gaza and Udhiyah For Orphans From Gaza Evacuated To Egypt Today

The Islamic Center is working with Human Concern International to provide much needed aid and assistance to our sisters and brothers in Gaza at Launchgood.com/Udhiyah4GazaOrphans.  Contributions are tax-deductible and zakat-eligible.

We are providing udhiyah/qurbani meat to orphans from Gaza that have been evacuated to Egypt and are providing much-needed flour and hygiene products to families still inside of Gaza.

Help Provide Critical Food, Medicine & Udhiyah to Orphans and Families In Sudan Today

The Islamic Center is working with Human Appeal to provide much needed aid and assistance to our sisters and brothers in Sudan at Launchgood.com/Udhiyah4SudanOrphans. Contributions are tax-deductible and zakat-eligible.

We are providing udhiyah/qurbani meat in addition to hot meals, medicine, women's essentials kits and more to orphans and families that are facing severe malnutrition and hunger right now. 14 million children urgently need assistance, with 3.7 million acutely malnourished. Over 70-80% of hospitals have ceased operations, leaving millions without access to healthcare. 4 million are displaced, and 19 million children are out of school. Your support can help provide critical aid to orphans, malnourished children, and families in need, while also supporting mobile clinics to treat sickness and malnutrition.

Bring a Smile To A Child This Eid! Click Here to Send a Toy to a Pediatric Patient

With Eid around the corner, the Islamic Center at NYU is excited to partner with Khairgiver on it's 10th annual Eid Toy Drive this year to bring toys to pediatric patients.  In addition to gift lists for the usual 25 children's hospitals around the country that participate, this year we also have two very special gift lists for pediatric patients from Palestine that have been transferred to the U.S. for treatment by HEAL Palestine, and pediatric patients at Elbuluk Children's Hospital in Sudan through the Sudanese American Physicians' Association. Over the years, these drives have brought smiles and joy to thousands of children - let's do our part to show love to that many more this Eid inshallah.

You can make purchase toys directly via Khairgiver's Wishlists at https://www.khairgiver.com/eidtoydrive2025 or make a tax-deductible monetary contribution at https://www.khairgiver.com/donate and those funds will be used to purchase those same toys.

Jazakallah khair - I am so grateful for this community and for the opportunity to build with you and assist people in their time of need.   May Allah bless you and your loved ones always and accept from all of us, especially in these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah. Ameen.

Looking forward to seeing you all at our Eid programs inshallah.

- Khalid
