Announcing ISB Elections 2025
Asalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
The time has come again for the Islamic Society of Baltimores Council Election. This is an important opportunity for our community to come together and select individuals who will guide us graciously with integrity, dedication and service. As we engage in this process, we are reminded of the great responsibility that comes with leadership.
The Prophet Muhammad ( ) said, Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. (Sahih Bukhari 7138). Serving our community and taking on leadership roles is an amanah (trust) from Allah, and it is a privilege to contribute to the growth and well-being of our beloved masjid. The council plays a crucial role in shaping the direction and growth of ISB and by being involved in the process you are ensuring a brighter future for ISB.
2024 Membership:
The last date to fulfill the 2024 membership dues is January 31st, 2025. The 2024 ISB membership list is posted on the 2nd floor lobby at ISB.

The voters list for the 2025 council elections will be posted by February 9th, 2025.
Voter eligibility: must be an ISB member in 2024 and a prior year.
Election 2025 Nomination Forms:
To submit a nomination form:

Option 1: Submit a printed and completed nomination package in person to a member of the ISB Election Committee.

Option 2: Drop off the physical copy in a sealed envelope for the Election Committee at the ISB Office.

Option 3: Email the completed nomination form to the Election Committee email before the deadline: [email protected]
Form submission process will happen through: Feb 5th - Feb 25th, 2025 (9am - 9pm)

The Election Committee has been activated to conduct the 2025 elections for the next ISB President and eight (8) members of the ISB Council.
