Islamic School Registration Fall 2024

Assalamu Alaikoum wa RahmtoAllahi Taala wa Barakatuh dear parents,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. As we approach the beginning of a new academic year, we are excited to extend our heartfelt welcome to both our returning and new students to Al Fajr Islamic School of Davis.

The journey of faith and learning is a continuous one, marked by exploration, understanding, and personal growth. Your unwavering support and dedication to your children's spiritual and moral development have been the cornerstone of our program's success.

For those who have been with us before, welcome back! We are thrilled to have your familiar faces grace our classrooms once again. To the families joining us for the first time, a special warm welcome! We understand the importance of trust when it comes to nurturing young hearts and minds, and we are committed to creating a nurturing, respectful, and engaging environment that encourages both personal and spiritual growth.

Please see attached documents for information about the registration for this new school year. The "Welcome Parent 2024" has information about the schedule, calendar and tuition. The "Introduction, Rules and Regulations" has information about the school vision, the letter from the principal and the rules that the students are expected to follow.

Important Dates:

Registration begins August 15th and ends August 24th, 2024. This year, we will ONLY have 80 seats and registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Also, we are accepting ALL students, ages 6-17. 

On August 25th there is a mandatory student evaluation that will be held at the Masjid from 11am to 1:30pm. Please sign up, as a family, for a 10 minutes time slot using the following evaluations link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RGrFsbesxprZszVLQyWfWXKSnSWcMnTWcaV83bqES2Q/edit?usp=sharing. Our goal is to evaluate the Arabic level for ALL students(new and old) prior to the start of class to ensure that there is enough time to organize the school roster and prepare books for students to use throughout the year. Let us know ASAP if you can't make it on the 25th and we will work with you to make other arrangements InshAllah.

Lastly, there is a mandatory parents orientation on September 6th after Maghrib at the Masjid inshallah. Please plan to attend to get more information about the upcoming year.
