Dear NAMCC Family,
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
It is with both heartfelt gratitude and bittersweet emotion that we share the news that Sheikh Said Atif, our cherished imam, will be transitioning away from his role at NAMCC officially on Jan 15th 2025. In the attached video, Sheikh Said personally explains his decision, rooted in family needs, as his daughter is transferring to a new university in San Antonio. While his family is relocating, Sheikh Said's heart and prayers will always remain with this vibrant and growing community.
Sheikh Said has been an integral part of NAMCC. His dedication, wisdom, and leadership have been invaluable as weve grown together into a thriving and promising Masjid. He has expressed how proud he is of what weve accomplished as a community in such a short time and is confident in our bright future ahead.
Even in his departure, Sheikh Said continues to support us by assisting in the search for our next imam with EC and Imaam Committee. This transition marks a new chapter, and we are deeply grateful for his ongoing commitment to ensuring a smooth and thoughtful process as we look ahead.
Please join us in expressing immense gratitude to Sheikh Said for his service and in making dua for his family as they embark on this new journey. May Allah (SWT) reward him for all the good he has done for our community and bless him in the path ahead.
We understand this news may bring many emotions, but let us come together as one community, united in our shared mission and vision for NAMCC. We are confident that with your continued support, NAMCC will keep thriving and expanding, inshaAllah.
May Allah (SWT) grant us strength during this transition and bless our community with the leadership we need to flourish.
Jazakallahukhair
