Guest Speaker: Sheikh Mustafa Masood
Sheikh Mustafa Ali Masood is an Islamic lecturer and researcher. Having completed his undergraduate studies at the Kingston University, he went on to study Islamic Studies at the Hawza at the Islamic College under the supervision of Sheikh Mohammed Ali Shomali. He continued his Islamic education at the Khataam al-Nabeen Hawza based in London under the guidance of Sayed Mahdi Raman.
Sheikh Mustafa Ali Masood is currently enrolled in the Najaf Hawza at Dar Ul Ilm Khoei institute and has chosen to specialise in Hadeeth & Theological Research.
As well as lecturing Sheikh Masood is involved in Islamic media and has been a researcher and producer for over 10 years. He has produced and directed many groundbreaking documentaries and shows on different Islamic topics including jurisprudence, theology, history and contemporary issues.
Muharram Fund
The Muharram fund is open. This fund is critical and allows the Jamaat to run programs and cover operating expenses until Ramadhan.
The goal this year is to raise $55,000 during the Holy month of Muharram.
