Assalamun Aleikum, we have very exciting update for the community, brother Sadik Datoo has been elected as an Executive Councillor tothe World Fedeation. It is huge achievement for our MN community and congratulations to him. We pray to Allah SWT to give him strength and wisdom to continue serving our communities Insha Allah.

Sadaqah Jaariya Projects

We have two funds open to contribution for Sadaqah Jaariya:

  1. Transportation and installation of a mimbar in the imambargah.
    Our goal is approximately $2,000.
  2. New rugs for our MPC to be used for Majalis and religious events.
    Our goal is approximately $5,000.

As always very well done for both the girls and boys! Congratulations to both The Mens team who were able to get second place and the Women's team who were able to get all the way to the semifinals. Our community is proud of these achievements! Whenever we look at these achievements we feel proud and nothing else! Keep up the great work! 9:45 to 10:30 - PBL for pod 1 & Arabic immersion for pod 2
10:30 to 10:45 - Snack
10:45 to Noon - PBL for both pods
Noon to 1:15 - Lunch/recess/salah
1:15 to 2:15 - Montessori play for pod 1 and PBL for pod 2

Thursday - May 30th

Exciting Opportunity for Former Reusable Contact Lens Wearers!

Are you a former contact lens wearer who had to stop wearing them due to discomfort or dryness? We have an exciting opportunity for you to earn $400 and potentially improve your contact lens experience!

We are conducting a study and are looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
Between 18 and 40 years old.
A former wearer of reusable contact lenses for at least one year.
Discontinued use due to discomfort or dryness.
Willing to wear lenses for 1 month with brief visits at 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month (no more than 15 minutes each).
Agree to wear supplied lenses for the next 6 months, as little or as much as desired.
Complete a quick survey at the 6-month mark (where you will receive your compensation)

Local services offered for the benefit of our community members

Hadi Medical Clinic is a no-cost healthcare facility open to everyone in need of its service, regardless of race, faith, or socioeconomic status. The clinic provides free primary care consultations by board certified doctors. In addition, lab tests are arranged as necessary at a nominal fee. All work done by doctors and staff is voluntary.

The clinic is open every Saturday from 10:30am-1:00pm and is located at Imam Hussain Islamic Center

During these challenging times Masoomeen Foundation is here to serve the Shia community of Minnesota with resources to weather uncertain times.

Second Harvest Senior Nutrition Program Moves to Brooklyn Park

Monday through Friday, seniors over 60 who meet certain income guidelines can go to the Brooklyn Park-based food bank once a month to pick up a box filled with nutritious food.

The box contains things like pasta, juice, canned fruits and veggies, and pet food for all of the animal lovers out there.
