Presentation by Prof. Stephen Gasteyer. The event is sponsored by Edgewood's Justice and Peace Team.

Stephen Gasteyer is Associate Professor of Sociology at MSU. He is a Steering Committee member of the national United Church of Christ Palestine-Israel Network (PIN) and a member of the board ofGL-UNA. Gasteyer was a Fulbright Scholar at Birzeit University in Ramallah, Palestine in 2015-16. Previously, he worked on agroecosystem research at the Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem and at the Palestine Institute for Arid Lands and Environmental Studies, (1993-1996).

Sunday, March 10th, from 7-8 pm, head to the MSU planetarium for the Ramadan Crescent Observation. A fantastic team of scientists will guide us through observing the Ramadan crescent, marking the beginning of the holy month.
