Information Session for New Quarter on July 5th

Assalaamu Alaykum Dear Community,

The ADAMS Certificate Program in Islamic Sciences will hold an information session this Friday, July 5th, at 7:30 PM at Qahwa for its upcoming Quarter, which starts next Monday, July 8th, at the ADAMS Center in Sterling.

This information session provides an opportunity for new and existing students, as well as those who are curious about the program, to meet the program's administration and instructors in person and ask questions. The instructors will also provide a synopsis of the courses they will teach. 

The following is the list and schedule of the five courses offered in this Quarter:

1. The Quran Recitation on Mondays (Instructor: Ustadh Ismail Azgau)
2. Family system in Islam on Tuesdays (Instructors: Imam Magid and Imam Abdul Malik Merchant)
3. Philosophy and objectives of Worship (Ibadah) on Wednesdays (Instructors: Imam Magid and Dr. Daoud Nassimi) 
4. Intermediate level of Arabic Language on Wednesdays (Instructor: Ustadh Mahmoud Mansour)  placement test will be given on July 8th at 7:00 PM
5. Islamic Beliefs and Worldview on Thursdays (Instructor: Dr. Daoud Nassimi)  

All courses are offered at ADAMS main center community hall in Sterling except Islamic Beliefs and Worldview, which will be offered at Gainesville. However, it will be available online for other locations. You can take any course without a commitment to the certificate program.

Please plan to attend this important informational session, even if you are unsure about joining the program. If you cannot attend in person, email to request the Zoom link so you can join virtually. Also, you can attend any class in the first week (July 8-11) without registration to better understand each course.
