As-Salamu Alaikum, Dear Community:

It is the sixth day of fasting and the continuation of our "Ramadan Daily" series. You'll receive daily updates on all things Ramadan at ADAMS!

This Ramadan - our ADAMS Tahfeedh ul Quran program & the ADAMS Office of the Imams have partnered for a daily "Ramadan Reflections" video series. A hafiz will recite the day's Juz and select ayahs, while a member of our Office of the Imams will reflect on it.

 
Today's Ramadan Reflection explores Juz 6, ayah 5:7, with a recitation by a young hafiz and a reflection by Imam Hicham Hall. Explore how this ayah connects to our "Patience, Prayer, Progress" theme.

We are honored to be able to provide special needs respite care during Taraweeh during Ramadan. Respite care will be offered during the first 8 rakaat on Wednesdays and Saturdays at ADAMS Main Center in Sterling, VA.

Sully Iftar Fundraiser:
Join Sully for an iftar fundraiser on Saturday, March 16th at 5:30 PM at Westfield High! On 3/16, there will be no other Sully Taraweeh prayers besides the one at Westfield High School.

Ramadan Nights:
Join us the first of a 3-session event where we will seek spiritual enrichment and purpose in our own lives by empathizing with the life of Messenger PBUH in the greater pursuit of worshiping Allah!

This Saturday, March 16th at 11:45 PM at ADAMS Sterling, we are joined by Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant and Ustadha Kouthar Muttardy! The event begins shortly after Taraweeh in the Main Musullah and includes a talk followed by discussion circles. Anyone above 18 years old is invited to come.

Living Light - Weekly Series:

We are excited to announce a special Ramadan series for ages 14-25! Living Light is a month-long workshop with Dr. Zainab Alwani. It is a weekly series teaching particpants how to do tadabbur of the Quran. Students will learn how to reflect on the Quran and apply its wisdom daily. Ages 14-25. Brothers & Sisters. One-time registration covers all 4 sessions. Join us every Sunday during Ramadan at 11AM at ADAMS Center in Sterling, VA.

Zakat in Islam & Social Services within the Community:

Gain an understanding of the Islamic principles of Zakat. Learn about the diverse forms of Zakat distribution. Understand how social services organizations serve Muslim community needs. Join Dr. Yaqub Mirza and Br. Fakhir Ahmad on Sunday, March 17th, at 1:30 PM at ADAMS Leesburg.
