Prophetic Perseverance Conference
Alhamdulilah! January marked a remarkable chapter for Qurtuba and the ADAMS community, filled with meaningful endeavors that resonated deeply with the spirit of unity and growth. We take pride in our commitment to fostering a community that thrives on shared knowledge, spiritual development, and collective empowerment.
In collaboration with the esteemed Miftaah Institute, we hosted a groundbreaking conference on Prophetic Perseverance, attracting scholars from across the nation. The event, a first of its kind in recent Qurtuba history, brought together over 1,500 attendees from the DMV area, transforming the ADAMS Center into a vibrant conference hub. With large screens in the musallah and gym, dedicated vendors, and a team of enthusiastic volunteers, the night unfolded seamlessly. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the ADAMS & Qahwa operations staff, Qurtuba volunteers, Miftaah Institute, and each attendee for contributing to the success of this memorable occasion.
In addition to this flagship event, January saw the initiation of several impactful Qurtuba programs, providing enriching opportunities for spiritual growth and learning.;
- Bi-weekly study of the 99 Names of Allah with Dr.Kia at Ashburn
- Weekly Seerah Study with Imam Kebba at Sully
- New sisters-only classes with Ustadha Kouthar at Ashburn, Fairfax, and Sully
As we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan, keep an eye out for the upcoming Qurtuba Ramadan Conference and weekly Ramadan programming. These initiatives align with our vision of fostering a community that actively engages in meaningful endeavors, ensuring that the essence of unity and growth continues to thrive. Stay updated on all our activities at adamscenter.org/qurtuba, and let's continue to strive together for the betterment of our community. Your attendance, support, and prayers are invaluable, and we look forward to building upon these successes in the months to come.
