Al-Umma Center plans to host a family night to honor SCV 2024 Graduates AND Welcome back Hajjis  

 

Plans are underway to organize an event to honor this year's community's graduating class (all levels 6th grade - college & professional school) and those whoare returning from this year's hajj in shaa Allah.

  • Khateeb starts the Khutbah at 1:15 PM.
  • The Friday Prayer will be streamed live on the Masjid FB page :http://Facebook.com/AUCSCV/
  • Please avoid double parking, and use street parking right behind the masjid.  It's only a short walk to the Masjid from that area.

Quran Reciting + Contemplations Sharing  Quran recitations will resume again tonight insha Allah since there was a break during Ramadan   (Thursdays @6:30 PM)

Fajr Prayer & Hadith Contemplations (Sundays @ 5:00 AM): 
Please join us every Sunday in the Masjid to pray Fajr and participate in discussing and reflecting on two or three Hadiths, Inshallah.  This Sunday, Brother Ensar will continue presenting Hadiths from (Riyad Assalihin)

In-Masjid Prayers (Isha @ 9:45 PM & Fajr @ 5:00 AM):

Community members are urged to come and do Jamaa prayers, especially Isha and Fajr, where most days we'll have a short Khatira by one of our esteemed Khateebs, or another learned Brother In Sha Allah.

1. The newly formed ICNA Greater LA chapter presents our 1st Islamic Knowledge Bowl this summer for the youth. Join us for the largest Islamic knowledge competition in SoCal with participating mosques from all across Greater Los Angeles. The topic is the Life of Abu Bakr (RA). Round 1 will be held on July 27th. 4. The flyer below is about an Islamic school the wife of brother Esam Buckley has accommodated at her own house in Banjar, Indonesia in 2014. The school has grown and it needs a bigger facility to accommodate more kids. A non-profit was created, and the land was purchased by local donations. He and his wife are soliciting donations from our community here in Santa Clarita and elsewhere to start construction on a school building. May Allah reward us all.
