Tomorrow: January Potluck - Meet the BOD Candidates

Please join us this Friday as the Election Committee hosts a Meet the Candidate event, for the BOD Nominees

Asalaamualaikum,

 

InshAllah you and your families are doing well. Please join us tomorrow, Friday, January 19th at 6:30 pm.  We are in the final steps of the 2023 Al Salam BOD Election and have two (2) positions to fill this election cycle. 

The following three (3) candidates have accepted the nomination and qualify per the requirements in the bylaws. The list is in no particular order:

1. Maryam Qureshi (Ahmad)
2. Shahriar Shahnaz (Piya)
3. Nadeem Ikhlaque 

Serving the community comes with commitment and sacrifice. May Allah (swt) accept our candidates' intent to lead our community and serve His cause. Ameen.

Next Steps: 
This Friday, the community will have a "Get to Know Your Candidates' Session to introduce the eligible candidates and ask any questions.
