Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Masjid,
Alhamdulillah! Allahu Akbar! We had a spiritually enriching past few days at Al Falah Center. On Saturday we had a talk by our own Dr. Ahmed on the significance of Hajj and 9th of Dhul Hijjah, followed by an Iftar potluck for the community. Sunday we celebrated Eid-ul-Adha and held our first outdoor Eid Salah at our Masjid site! The grand finale came on Monday when the world renowned Sheikh Mishary Al Afasy graced our community with his mesmerizing Quran recitation and led our community for Maghrib Salah. With these beautiful experiences in our memory we are ready to welcome summer!
Even though were going through a heatwave right now, Al Falah has some cool events for you to look forward to: Al Falah Sports camp for all ages, gender and interests; a Revert Eid gathering and, of course, our much awaited Summer Camp. Please scroll down for details.

Weekly Recap
Part 3 of Dr. Ahmed's multi-part halaqa series "Navigating the LGBTQ Narrative" took place last week. Part 4 is coming up this Friday.
On Saturday we were enlightened on the Virtues of Arafah by Dr. Ahmed followed by a potluck iftar/dinner.
Eid-ul-Adha prayer was held for the first time on our soccer field at Al Falah Center on Sunday! Delicious treats along with balloon animals and face painting followed prayer.
On Mondayevening, we had a special event where Sheikh Mishary Al Afasy led Maghrib prayer followed by a beautiful Quran recitation. He concluded with a Dua for Palestine.
