Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Masjid,
We are officially in College Graduation season. Between the lost academic year in Gaza and challenging student protests across colleges in the US, graduations are hitting differently this year; much like everything else. However, the students are showing us how to stand your ground and make our voices heard. From student walk-outs during commencements to students wearing Keffiyeh and other symbols of pro-Palestine identity during the procession, the young adults continue to prove that there are multiple ways to stand against injustice and to exercise our right of freedom of speech. We see you and appreciate your courage!
Join us this Thursday evening as we discuss how to protect this First Amendment right. Equip yourself with the information for yourself, or the young adults in your life or for your brothers and sisters in the community.

Summer Camp Registration!
Al Falah is hiring for Summer Camp!!
Join us at Al Falah Center for an amazing summer adventure! We're thrilled to offer Full-time and Part-time positions at our upcoming Summer Camp. We are fortunate to have the guidance of Al Falahs Religious Director Dr. Ahmed Metwally, PhD.
Available Roles:
**- Paid Summer Camp Counselors
- Paid Quranic/Islamic Studies Teachers
- Volunteer Camp Counselors (Non-Paid)

Our camp spans 6 weeks, from June 24th to August 2nd from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. If you're enthusiastic about guiding children, fostering meaningful connections, and enriching our summer program, we want you on our team!
This summer, we're offering a special 50% discount for children of all summer camp teachers and counselors.

Imam Yusuf Rios has a BA in Western Philosophy and Sociology from John Carroll University, BA in Islamic Studies from Islamic American University, completed Graduate work in Education from Notre Dame College and is near completion of a Masters in Islamic Education from Guidance College. He also studied traditionally for 5 years in Cairo Egypt with scholars from Al Azhar and others
He has served as an instructor with Islamic American University, al-Huda University, Guidance College and the Director Shaukani Study Circle and Co-Founder of the 3 Puerto Rican Imams Project for Education, Humanitarian and Disaster Relief.

Falah Youth Initiative will resume on - 5/25
Next FYI Meet Up is Saturday, May, 25th. FYI is a bi-weekly program (every 2nd and 4th Saturday) led by Imam Khalil and his team to provide youth with good companionship and mentorship. We'll discuss youth-relevant issues, play games, eat, and just chill. The initial phase will be for brothers ages 14-18. Following that, the goal is to incorporate their sister counterparts, and eventually children ages 9-13. The relationships fermented in this program will lead to lifelong friendships built upon righteousness and piety insha'Allah. Register above! Friday nights are family nights at Al Falah Center as Dr. Ahmed take us on an informative journey each week and we end the session with some uplifting socializing and desserts. Last week we explored the profound impact of culture on our lives and learned how to navigate cultural influences with Dr. Ahmed.
