Eid-ul-Adha Information I Halaqa: Virtues Of Arafah | Arafah Iftar Potluck
Assalaamualaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Masjid,
The crescent of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted! Today, Friday, June 7, is the first day of Dhul Hijjah, and the Day of Arafah will be Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Eid-ul-Adha will be on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days", meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Eid-ul-Adha Prayer and Khutbah will be led by Dr. Ahmed M Mohamed.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biology from Queens University in Canada, and a MA in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota. He also holds an Ijazah (traditional Islamic license) to transmit and teach Quran recitation, Tajweed, Aqeeda, principles of Fiqh and principles of Hadeeth. Previously, Dr. Ahmed worked as a faculty member at Rutgers University, College of Staten Island, and Raritan Valley Community College. Currently, Dr. Ahmed is the Religious Director at Al Falah Center.
