Importance of Maktab Education & Enrollment Update 

As we approach the new academic year, I want to emphasize the importance of our Afterschool Maktab program and share three key reasons why it is essential for our children's growth and development:

1. Building a Strong Islamic Foundation
Our Maktab program is designed to instill a deep understanding of the Quran, Sunnah, and Islamic values. By learning how to properly recite the Quran, understanding Prophetic narrations and history, and focusing on character building, students develop a solid foundation in their faith that will guide them throughout their lives.

2. Fostering Responsibility and Resilience
In today's fast-paced world, it is crucial for our children to develop a sense of responsibility and resilience. Our curriculum addresses these modern-day challenges by encouraging students to live a Taqwa-centered life, practicing good etiquette with parents, teachers, and siblings, and engaging in meaningful conversations on contemporary topics like Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Winter Holidays.

3. Creating a Supportive Community Environment
Our Maktab is more than just a place for learning; it is a community where students feel supported and valued. With the introduction of our "Deen for Teens" program, we are providing a safe and nurturing environment for older students to explore their faith more deeply and connect with their peers in meaningful ways.

As we strive to maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio to ensure personalized attention and quality education, we are approaching capacity for the number of students we can accept this year. Program Details:
- Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays | 5:30 - 7:30 PM EST
- Age Groups:
  - Elementary (Ages 6-8)
  - Primary (Ages 9-11)
  - Teens (Ages 12+)
- Financial Aid: Available with a firm "No One Excluded" policy.
