Muslim Community Association

Dear Community,

We are deeply concerned about recent incidents of vandalism by members of the community within MCA. Our masjid is a sacred space that deserves the utmost respect and care from all who enter.

Recent Incidents
In the past week alone, we have witnessed:

  • A TV in the women's prayer hall broken by what looks like an object thrown towards it

  • Cut wire mesh on the playground gate

  • Two brand new odorizer units ripped from the wall in the women's bathroom

  • Attempted removal of Door 14 exit signs

  • A key fob reader device pulled from the wall

Call to Action

  1. Supervision: All children under 18 must be supervised by an adult or enrolled in a specific program while on the premises.
  2. No In-door Ball Play: Games with balls are strictly prohibited inside the building.
  3. Reporting: If you witness any suspicious activity, please report it immediately to the safety team (on Friday and Saturday nights) or the facilities office.

Consequences
We want to be clear: vandalism will not be tolerated. Those caught engaging in destructive behavior will be held fully accountable for their actions.

Let us work together to maintain the sanctity and security of our masjid. Your cooperation is essential in preserving MCA as a safe, welcoming space for worship, learning, and community gatherings.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any member of the executive board.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
