A Trade Like No Other

What would you choose when faced with a crossroads: the fleeting comforts of wealth or the eternal richness of faith? When Suhaib al Rumi, a noble companion of Prophet Muhammad , stood at this pivotal moment, he made a decision so bold andselfless that it continues to inspire hearts centuries later.
Initially hindered by the Quraish's efforts to stop him from accompanying our beloved Prophet on the hijrah (migration), Suhaibs resolve remained unshaken. With unwavering determination, he warned them that, as a skilled archer, he would defend himself to the last arrowunless they agreed to take all his wealth and let himgo.
The Quraish accepted the trade, and when Suhaib finally reached Qubaa, the Prophet greeted him with a beaming smile and proclaimed his sacrifice a profitable sale.
And, it was in this regard that the following was revealed:
"And there are those who would dedicate their lives to Allahs pleasure. And Allah is Ever Gracious to His servants."
