This year, were diving into the inspiring stories of the companions while keeping the fun going with an exciting mix of Quran, arts & crafts, sports, and more! Plus, our legendary weekly field trips will take us to amazing destinations.
40 Nawawi Hadith Course
Ustadh Athman Jilo for a 16-week journey through the 40 Nawawi Hadithsa cornerstone of Islamic knowledge. This course is designed to help youth understand, memorize, and eventually teach these essential Hadiths, which cover the core principles of our faith. Perfect for those seeking to build a strong foundation in Islam from an early age.

Fast & Learn
Fast & Learn is a weekly program from 7:30PM to 9:30 PM that connects youth to the masjid and give them a space where they can freely discuss things on their mind.
The program combines spiritual connection through fasting, bonding with fellow youth by breaking their fast together and inspiring the youth to speak their mind freely while pursuing knowledge and a fundamental understanding of their faith.

With help from our wonderful volunteers, we distributed Qurbani meat, cleaning supplies, hygiene kits, and first aid kits to our community members during our distribution last week. Thank you to Islamic Relief USA, ICNA Relief, a generous community member, and our local MASDC Girl Scouts troop for their contributions. May Allah reward you all.
Immigration Legal Clinic - UPDATE
The Immigration Legal Clinic held by Just Neighbors will no longer operate out of Dar Al-Hijrah, but will operate out of the Culmore Hub on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 8:30am to 12:00pm

NVDC has six state-of-the-art dental suites and can provide extensive services including emergency interventions, tissue biopsies, root canals, dentures, crowns and bridges.
