The Islamic Centre of Kingston (ISK) will be an official polling station on Election Day Monday, April 28, 2025, and will be open from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
Please note:
Only individuals assigned to vote at the masjid based on their home address will be able to vote there. You cannot vote at the masjid if it is not your designated polling location.
To find out where you should vote, visit the Elections Canada website and enter your postal code, youll be able to view your assigned polling station.
The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) has established a Federal Election Policy Guide 2025 which can be found on their electoral portal which educates on topics such as the impacts of Bill 21: Quebecs prayer and hijab ban, and protecting Muslim-led charities.
Brother Khalid Nasser, a volunteer with MuslimVotes.ca, will be available at ISK this Friday, April 25, after Jummah prayers. He will be at a booth with flyers, voting info, and resources to help answer your questions and ensure our community is ready to vote.
