Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents and Students,

Several weeks ago, Imam Nadim launched a unique initiative for our youth called the Siraj Program — an eight-month course designed for students who have completed or are in the process of memorizing the Qur’an. The goal was to provide our youth with essential Islamic knowledge, practical skills, and guidance for their personal and spiritual development.

After careful consultation and feedback, we are excited to announce an important enhancement to ensure the program is truly practical, accessible, and impactful for everyone.

✅ What’s Changing?

• The original 8-month format is being restructured into Summer Intensives instead of weekly sessions spread throughout the year.

• The curriculum will be divided into Siraj 1 and Siraj 2, allowing students to complete one focused module at a time.

• The first module, Siraj 1, will be offered this summer, inshaAllah.

✅ Why Are We Making This Change?

We believe this shift will better serve our students and families for several reasons:

• It is impractical to expect students to commit to two classes per week for eight months while balancing school, homework, and extracurriculars.

• Long programs are often interrupted by school holidays, breaks, and exams, which reduces consistency and benefit.

• A summer intensive provides dedicated, distraction-free time for students to focus and benefit fully.

• This format is more cost-effective, saving families from paying $1,600 for eight months. The new intensive is just $500 per child.

✅ When & Where?

• Dates: July 9 – August 7

• Days: Monday through Thursday

• Time: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM (with breaks)

• Fee: $500 per student

✅ Who Can Join?

Priority will be given to high school (and select middle school) students who have completed or are actively memorizing the Qur’an. A limited number of additional students may be accepted, space permitting.

✅ What Will Be Covered in Siraj 1?

Students will benefit from:

• Etiquettes of Seeking Knowledge

• Social Etiquettes

• Aqeedah (Theology)

• Addressing Common Questions & Doubts about Islam

• Fiqh of Purification (Tahara) and Salah

• 10 Noble Characteristics from the Qur’an

• 10 Evil Characteristics to Avoid, from the Qur’an

✅ Coming Next: Siraj 2

A future session (Siraj 2) will include:

• Spirituality (Imam Ghazali’s teachings)

• Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ

• 40 Hadith for Youth

• Selected Surahs and Qur’anic Stories

• Leadership & Productivity

• Public Speaking Skills
