Dear Respected Community Members:
The Prophet ﷺ said, “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)
As Ramadan begins, we reflect on the tremendous progress our community has made—progress that was only possible through Allah’s mercy and your generosity. Alhamdu lillah, this past year:

We opened our new masjid! Just hours before Ramadan, we received occupancy, allowing us to begin this sacred month with Isha and Tarawih in our new home.

We purchased the Uthman Academy building (42,000 SF) in Lombard, IL, now home to our full-time girls’ hifz program and various part time programs for children and adults.

We launched Sirat School, a full-time Islamic school that will begin with K–3 in Fall 2025 and, in sha Allah, expand to serve Pre-K through 12th grade. Its curriculum blends Islamic sciences, Arabic, and character-building with rigorous academics to prepare students for both dunya and akhirah. (Visit sirat.org for details.)

Uthman Academy is thriving! With 600+ students in our full-time hifz and part-time programs, we now have the space to expand even further.

We are expanding our structured maktab curriculum into a national certification program with teacher training, ensuring every Muslim child in the country has access to a strong, structured Islamic education that nurtures faith and identity.
Now, we need your help. This Ramadan, help us reach $1M of this year’s $3M goal for the following needed projects and pay offs:

Complete remaining construction items in the masjid, such as the audio system

Pay off contractor bills and personal loans taken for construction

Pay off loans used to acquire the Uthman Academy building

Undertake critical renovations to make the academy building fully operational
Allah ﷻ promises: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [the reward] for whom He wills." (Qur’an 2:261)
