Dear Community Members,
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah (SWT), we are pleased to announce the new moon was sighted and tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28th, will be the 1st of Dhul Hijjah. We encourage everyone to take full advantage of these blessed days. The Day of Arafah will be on Thursday June 5th, and Eid-Ul-Adha will be celebrated on Friday, June 6th. More details about our Eid plans will be announced soon inshaAllah.
As we enter the best ten days, we encourage everyone to increase their good deeds . The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days” (Bukhari).

IN THE FIRST 10DAYS OF DHUL-HIJJAH
Fasting on the Day of Arafah is highly recommended. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and the coming year” (Muslim).
If you intend to offer a sacrifice (Udhiya), it is highly recommended to refrain from cutting your hair or nails until after the sacrifice has been made.
May Allah bless the ummah and guide all of us to take advantage of these blessed days. May Allah grant us the ability to witness, and perform the best of deeds during, the best ten days of the year. Ameen
