Assalamu Alaikum Beloved MCC Family,
Alhamdulillah, according to regional moon sighting, we are pleased to announce that Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Friday, June 6, insha'Allah.Â
- Â Wednesday, May 28 -Â the first day of Dhul Hijjah.
- Thursday, June 5 - On the blessed Day of Arafat (day before Eid), MCC hosts its annual community lecture and Iftar. Please RSVP.
- Friday, June 6 - This year, we're at Rancho San Ramon Community Park with our friends at the San Ramon Valley Islamic Center.Â
Please join us for one of four Eid al-Adha prayer services on morning of Eid.Â

The days of Qurbani (sacrifice) are from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, with Ayam ul Tashreeq (Days of Remembrance) starting from Fajr on Thursday, June 5 (9th of Dhul Hijjah) to Asr on Monday, June 9 (13th of Dhul Hijjah).

Each Eid service will last about 30 minutes. The Eid prayer begins promptly at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10:30 a.m.
Please arrive early to accommodate parking. Bring your prayer mat and water bottle to the San Ramon park. Limited chairs are provided.Â

Please also remember that for Eid, the congregational salat is prayed to first, and then worshipers listen to the Eid sermon afterward. Please stay seated during the sermon.
