9th Dhul Hijjah | Day of Arafah

1. Takbeerat after every Fardh Salah
Starting from Fajr on Thursday, June 5 (9th Dhul Hijjah) until Asr on Monday, June 9 (13th Dhul Hijjah), Muslims are encouraged to recite Takbeerat after every obligatory (Fardh) prayer.

Takbeerat in Arabic:
Translation:
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.
This should be recited after every Fardh Salah from Fajr on 9th Dhul Hijjah through Asr on 13th Dhul Hijjah.
2. Fasting on the Day of Arafah (Highly Recommended)
The Prophet said:
Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year.
(Sahih Muslim)
This fast is not obligatory but carries tremendous reward and forgiveness. Do not miss this opportunity!

May Allah accept our fasting, Takbeerat, and all our acts of worship. May He shower us with mercy and grant us His forgiveness on this Day of Arafah.
