Weekly Halaqa Series Starting Friday, May 31st

Join us on Friday, May 31st, @8:45 PM (after Maghrib) at the ISCV for the first episode of Aqida 101, a three-part introductory series on Islamic belief.

In this introductory episode, we will go over:

• The importance of learning Aqida (Islamic creed)

• Overview of branches of Aqida

• Overview of pillars of Tawhid (oneness of Allah)

The series is based on al-Aqda al-awiyya by Al Imam Abu Ja'far Al Tahaawi. This reference was chosen because:

• It is brief, clear, and a great resource for beginners

• It is widely accepted among different schools of thought

• Br. Mohamad is mujaaz (qualified) to teach this book

NOTES:

• Halaqa timing (before or after Maghrib) might change based on the audience's preference. Please fill this survey to pick your preferred time.
• Br. Mohamad is not a scholar or mufti, but a student. If you have a specific Fiqh inquiry, he can help by forwarding it (via [email protected]) to the scholars whom oversee his curriculum.
